Handy Man 

We are looking for a new team member with a sense of humour and a lively personality to join our team in Antwerp as a Handyman. Together with the Operations Manager, you are responsible for every technical aspect of the building.

SO, WHERE DO YOU COME IN? 

You’re the friendly, trusty person who everyone and anyone can reach whenever there’s an issue. You’re super technical and your first name is handy. (If your second name is Andy, you’re starting with bonus points.) Other things you master:

• You handle and fix technical issues as they occur
• You maintain the entire building inside and out
• You perform quality checks
• You know all the maintenance contracts off by heart
• You collaborate with internal and external parties on technical and maintenance matters
• You make sure every hotel and long stay guest feels at ease
• You are proactive and report where necessary

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU? 

• You are technical and work proactively to find, analyse and fix problems before they become an issue
• Even if the problem isn’t obvious at first, you will stop at nothing to find a solution
• The upkeep of the building and the rooms are your number one priority
• You communicate in a respectful and clear manner with customers and your colleagues
• Ideally you have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• You’re fluent in Dutch, and preferably know a little English as well
• Ability to work part time.
