We’re excited to announce that we are welcoming Yentl Gerard at YUST Antwerp!

 ” I go by the artist name ‘Nyro’. My inspiration to start painting began a couple of years ago when I asked my fling what he was thinking about. His answer was simple and short: “at this moment? nothing. absolute peace.” I was envious, and maybe a bit jealous. Nothing? Absolutely nothing? The brain of a serial overthinker said YUMMY. So began my quest to (obsessively) create the most delicious dish on the menu: ultimate peace. I used a variety of ingredients: writing, making clothes, singing… and guess what? No hyper focus’ taste lasted long enough to keep me satisfied. One day I was so hungry for peace, I became angry. And that’s the day I first grabbed a sponge and started painting. I never stopped ever since.”
