Tufting Workshop

Join us for a creative workshop of tufting!

Always wanted to make your own tapestry? Good news! Now you can, at YUST with Tapis Plain. Create your very own framed, hand-tufted wall tapestry (30×40 cm) to take home and cherish!

What does the workshop include?

• a short introduction to tufting, including the materials and machines
• a practice round to master the basic techniques
• drawing your design onto the canvas and choosing your colours
• and of course, the tufting

It’s helpful to think about your design beforehand. Let your creativity flow and make some sketches in advance or get inspired on Pinterest or Instagram.

Glueing and framing will be done by Tapis Plain. After two to three weeks, you can pick up your finished artwork or have it shipped to your Belgian address (€7).

Tickets are €125 and include your brand new tapestry, water & a drink. Arrival is from 1:30 PM, with the workshop starting promptly at 2:00 PM. It will run until 6:00 PM at the latest.
